There are people here who know their stuff and are professional. But sadly, there are also people here who don’t. I never knew what to expect, even though I was told I would be with an actual PT, which was very rare. Within the two months I was there for my knee replacement, I had a student, a PT assistant (the manager???), and a few times they called the girl at the front desk over, and she clearly had no idea what to do. Short-staffed, I guess. They were all nice, but when you are paying for a professional, it was disappointing. I left and finished out my course with YouTube. My knee is doing great. *** On a side note, it is REALLY uncool to gossip about your coworkers when clients are there.

I just finished my sessions for my shoulder at Peak Performance in Jacksonville.  They were amazing. From the time you walked in the front door and were greeted by the girl behind the desk, everyone was friendly and professional. Everyone worked very hard to make sure my needs were met and I was making progress.  I almost hated to see my sessions end.  Jessica definitely runs a very efficient office/facility. When I first started physical therapy here, I could barely walk because of the severe pain caused by a lower back injury. Just three weeks later, I am walking with almost my normal stride again, and I’m continuing to improve every day. Beyond helping me recover, they’re also taking the time to educate me on how to strengthen my core muscles so I can better support my spine and help prevent further damage. Every member of the team I have worked with has been exceptionally knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. So far, I have worked with three different therapists and each one has been outstanding. Emily, however, is phenomenal. From my very first evaluation, she immediately put me at ease. Watching her assess my condition, process all of the information, and develop a personalized treatment plan in real time was both reassuring and impressive. What stands out most is the way they make you feel. When you are there, you genuinely feel as if your recovery is their top priority. They don’t just treat injuries, they treat people with kindness, encouragement, and respect. I’ve watched them interact with other patients, and everyone receives that same level of care and attention. I’ve been to other PT clinics in town, and I have never received this level of excellence. If you are looking for a team that is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly invested in your recovery, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was suffering a quickly degrading problem with my knee and after my first visit, the turnaround was almost immediate and nothing short of miraculous. Emily and Jessica were terrific as were Cierrah and others that occasionally worked with me. They listened and understood my goals and tailored an agile program that adapted to suit my progress. There are some problems with billing but they are always resolved quickly and effortlessly. The entire staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. I have had nothing but the best of experiences here at Peak Performance in Jacksonville. I have been rehab-ing here for years on and off. There have been staff changes throughout the years, and all have been exemplary. They are kind, compassionate, and caring. They are also very professional, and work tirelessly to help you achieve your goals. I would now like to address the person who  hijacked my name to post a nasty, one star review here. You have caused me very much trouble with using my name. From the review, I now understand who it was. The staff here is wonderful they really care about you I came here to get more flexibility in  one of my knee replacement knees.. Great experiences with the entire team at Peak Performance. The director (Jessica) does a great job leading and coordinating everyone from staff to patients. Emily is very knowledgeable and seems to be great at helping the other assistants as well as training interns. They fixed my shoulder twice now, and I will continue to ask for this specific team any time I have injuries in the future. Jessica, Emily, Donna, Sierra and Dianna are warm and welcoming, but tough when they need patients to stay focused on the recovery process. The staff are all very sweet and they socialize with all patients not just who they are working with.  It feels like visiting friends rather than feeling like a cold medical appointment.  The therapists are very well versed in what is going on with your body and they take their time to not only show interest, but to explain to you why you feel like you do. I waited what felt like an eternity to begin a specialized therapy and now that I have "graduated" I can understand why. Becky and Alex were amazing, and from day one I felt heard and understood. They took the time to explain anatomy, the process in which healing would occur, and expectations for the sessions. They were thoughtful in their approaches and I truly received individualized care. The front desk staff was always helpful when I had a scheduling conflict and always brought a warm welcome each session. !!!Becky!!! The best Pelvic Floor physical therapist in Jacksonville/Swansboro area. Peak is a great atmosphere for someone who is trying to get back to work, or get back to moving again. Becky has been incredible and I feel strength returning to parts of my body that I haven't felt in years. I've seen her be incredibly compassionate with new mothers and getting them through the final stages of pregnancy and also with folks like me who have taken a fair share of beating and are pretty hard headed. She knows what she's doing and has the experience to apply the right type of therapy for the right people! Make an appointment with Peak Physical Therapy *by Lowes today! Updated 21 Mar 2023 Today was my last day of Pelvic floor therapy with Becky at Peak Performance This place has incredible people with incredible abilities that are willing to help you, if you're willing to put in the work. Today from resting on my back my knees almost touched the table I was lying on doing the butterfly stretch for the last time. I haven't been able to do that in 13 years. I recommend this place to anyone who needs any type of physical therapy due to injury or prior issues! I've been working with the team at Peak Performance since November 2023 after getting into a pretty bad car accident. They have been amazing the entire process! They have worked with my work schedule and listened to my concerns. Jill was my physical therapist and couldn't have done a better job. She took account of my active lifestyle and actually encouraged me to continue working out while recovering from my injuries. They also provided cupping and dry needling for me, which was life changing! I went from constant pain, tightness, and discomfort to being able to manage that and reduce it. The quality of care they provide is a breath of fresh air compared to the negligent medical professionals at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune and other local civilian providers. I am currently going here for pelvic floor physical therapy, and from my first day i have had nothing but wonderful visits. The staff is absolutely incredible and they are always having fun. They make sure to ask me how I am feeling and how pain has been outside of their office. After one week i was starting to see improvement and continue to see gradual improvement with many more visits to go. They make sure not to push too hard and gently work in more exercises. Peak Performance has been amazing to me and I am beyond happy that I am finally getting help from this issue that I have been told for many years was "unknown".
