Do I need a physician referral?

Most Private Insurance will cover Direct Access to Physical Therapy Services in North Carolina without a physician referral. Peak Performance is committed to ensuring our patients care is coordinated with their overall medical needs and conditions. When treating patients without a physician referral we will request permission to contact the patient’s physician in order to coordinate treatment.
